For this mix Pex has dug up his favourite 70s and early 80s Yugoslavian jazz. Despite early reservations to the musical form, the government sponsored the inaugural Belgrade Jazz festival in 1971. The wildly successful event attracted many of the world’s best musicians and epitomised the rise of jazz in the Eastern bloc.
